Jack White was a self-taught artist and writer known for his colorful Texas landscapes, which he created using the double primary palette technique, which only employs 6 base colors. White began his career as a portrait and landscape painter in the late 1960s after visiting his first art gallery. White's works can be found at the Smithsonian, Lyndon Johnson Museum, the Texas Ranger Hall of Honor and private collections.
