I earned my BFA in Art and Design at the University of Michigan in 2018. Since then, I’ve worked as a freelance photographer, art consultant, and artist for retail clients. I currently work as a graphic designer for Tommy Hilfiger. My designs are dynamic and driven by my passion for storytelling.
One of the key San Antonio traditions we studied in high school art classes was Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). We learned about the symbolism of marigolds and the customs of ofrendas and sugar skulls, also known as “calaveras de azúcar”. Cow-laveras de Azúcar is a cow designed as a traditional sugar skull, with its skeleton decorated in vibrant linework and flowers.
