My name is Zachary Roeder and I am the founder and operator of Studio Ironworks LLC, a custom metal fabrication company specializing in ornamental and architectural iron work for commercial and residential applications. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M and have worked professionally in software, design, machining, and drafting. I founded Studio Ironworks LLC in 2021, where I get to pursue my art full-time.
My cow, Papel PiCOWdo, draws inspiration from papel picado, a traditional art from Mexico, where intricate and repeating patterns are cut out of thin sheets of paper or foil. I love sculpture because it’s a space where my technical background and detail-oriented nature can harmonize with my creative inclinations.
