Includes: custom "cross-eyed" or "crossover" shaped stock to shoulder on right side, but aim with your left eye; case hardened reciever & lever; octagon barrel w/ quick mounts; 2-leaf rear sight; sling swivels; set triggers
Marked: underside of lever breech marked "GREIFELT & CO. / SUHL"; barrel slants marked "H. TRIEBEL NACHF." and "AUSURG"
Note from owner:  Unusual 8mm rifle crafted for use by a shooter who had lost the use of his right eye. The unique piece was made by Triebel and Greifelt of Germany probably 1930's.

Provenance: Property from the personal estate collection of iconic Texas businessman, civic leader and philanthropist Billy Joe Red McCombs (1927-2023) from his home in Olmos Park, Texas; previously on long-term loan to either San Antonio Academy or the Bexar County Courthouse; this lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity as property from the McCombs personal estate
