Condition: Each are in Good-Antique condition; wear & patina commensurate w/ age & military use; repairs in the wood stock of # "2"; rust & pitting expected with the age; bores are dark & pitted, commensurate w/ age; both locks mechanically functional

Marked: (1) the number "11" shows up on numerous parts; barrel has various proofs, including "PB" and "JA"; barrel has regimental mark appearing to read "SR. C. N. 40"; lockplate is marked w/ "MLB" maker mark
(2) the number "2" shows up on numerous parts; barrel has "VF" proof as well as a regimental mark appearing to read "S. C. N. 38"; top of barrel has later period "BELGIUM" mark; lockplate is marked w/ "JB" maker mark
