Condition: Good-very good antique; walnut grip has light-moderate wear wear for age; barrel, trigger guard, backstrap, and cylinder retain nice bluing w/ appropriate wear around edges; muzzle wear; light rust & pitting spots; frame retains around 80-90% of case colors w/ some fading/dulling at wear points; strong case colors in protected areas; hammer appears reblued; bore retains some brightness, but has scattered pitting throughout; strong rifling remains; mechanically good, but needs tweaking; only getting 3 clicks in the hammer pull; tight cylinder lock-up; patent dates & "U.S." marking are worn; grip is slightly undersized
Includes: mixed serial number parts (common for U.S. government models); 5.5 inch barrel indicating possible rework for US military as "Artillery Model"
Marked: all parts have mixed serial numbers (alines with military reworks); "U.S." marked on left side of frame; "P" mark on underside of barrel; "K" mark on trigger guard under SN; "G" mark on backstrap butt under SN; bottom of lewft grip panel marked "D.F.C." inspector proof (David F.
