Marked:backstrap reads "Dale Robertson" in cursive script; "intersecting "LB" monogram on back of frame above the backstrap; inside of grips are numbered to match serail numbers and also marked "carved by LB" in cursive script; left sides of the revolver frame are marked "N.Y. STATE CONS. DEPT." under the grip panels
Note: the engraving is likely not factory as the monogram initials do not connect to a Colt engraver; the engraving is likely a custom job done decades after these revolvers were manufactured
