Condition: Good; installed silver grips have moderate wear & patina expected w/ age; barrel, frame & cylinder have moderate wear on blue engraved finish; few light scratches and wear around muzzle & edges; few spots of very light pitting; bore is bright but frosted w/ some light pitting; strong rifling; good mechanically; action is smooth & well timed; cylinder lock up has slight wiggle
Features: beautiful extensive floral/scroll engraving throughout barrel, frame, cylinder, backstrap, and trigger guard; even the screw heads are engraved; w/ punch dot background behind engraving; no visible engraver signature or initials discovered
Includes: Colt Letter shipping it to Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Company in St. Louis, Missouri on April 11, 1911.
