Warren Hunter was a prolific artist who painted the landscapes and peoples of his Texas home, primarily in watercolors. Hunter studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and later taught at the Witte Museum as well as his own school, the Hunter School of Art, both in San Antonio, Texas.
