Sandra Faulstich Harris has had no formal training, beginning to paint commissioned oil portraits at age 14, but later studied under notable artists Howard Terpning, Bob Wygant, Jessica Zemsky, and Jack Hines, whose work influenced her own. She was also selected to participate in a special study session with a group of ten California artists at the Cowboy Artists of America Museum in Kerrville, Texas. Her work, executed in oil and acrylic, has been included in important collections across the country, and she most recently completed the official portrait of Coach Ben Martin for the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
