Duncan was educated at the University of Oklahoma and was a member of the Fellow American Artists Professional League (New York City), the Coppini Academy of Fine Arts (San Antonio Texas), Society of Western Artists (San Francisco, California), and the River Art Group in San Antonio, Texas. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Smithsonian Institute and National Gallery in Washington DC, the Witte Museum in San Antonio, the University of Texas at Austin, and others.
