Around seal says "Central Pacific and Union Pacific linking The Nation Promontory, Summit, Utah". Then emblem of two trains facing each other and under train says "Railway is completed May 10, 1869". Inscribed top of gun "Oceans United by Rail". On left side "1869 - 1969" with railroad spike. Also same side, "Winchester Model 1894 ,30-30 Win, made in New Haven, Conn. USA Winchester proof steel." On right side "gold spike commemorative." Serial Number: GS18087
