Condition: Good-antique; grips have scratches, chips & pressure dents, small repair on bottom of right panel; dark patina with scattered light pitting, muzzle is lightly crushed on right side; cylinder drag marks & fouling in chambers, navel scene & other marking have mostly faded on cylinder; bore is fair-good with fouling & residue throughout, strong rifling
Marked: "BB" on left side of barrel; "B" on right side of barrel; "H" behind trigger guard; matching serial numbers on barrel, wedge, frame, trigger guard & butt; "AMF" carved into left panel; possible faded cartouche ring visible on right panel

Provenance: Property from the personal estate collection of iconic Texas businessman, civic leader and philanthropist Billy Joe Red McCombs (1927-2023) from his home in Olmos Park, Texas; previously on long-term loan to either San Antonio Academy or the Bexar County Courthouse; this lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity as property from the McCombs personal estate
