Condition: Good-Antique; wood stock & forend have light to moderate wear & patina for age; barrel has mostly gray patina w/ light scattered rust and some blue finish remaining in protected areas; receiver has mostly gray patina w/ some blue finish remaining in protected areas; receiver has been polished in some areas leaving a polished steel look; faint case colors on hammer; bore is frosted w/ light scattered pitting & worn rifling; mechanically very good w/ smooth action
Includes: Letter from Cody Firearms Museum shipping it on December 18, 1884, to an unlisted address; no cleaning rod in butt compartment; rare special order "button" half-length magazine tube
