Jimmy Dyer, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art cum laude from the University of Dallas, is known for his vibrant, light-filled plein-air oil paintings that capture the effects of sunlight and the magic of nature. Drawing inspiration from landscapes across New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, as well as international scenes from Europe, South America, and the Caribbean, Dyer focuses on colorful, dynamic compositions often featuring indigenous peoples and varied landscapes.
