According to the Harry Ransom Collection at the University of Texas in Austin which holds the archives of the firm (in an astounding 200 linear feet) the firm “became one of the most important commercial photographic companies in the state. Through its photographic prints and negatives, the archive covers a wide variety of American cultural and humanistic dimensions, including: military history, architecture, art, land development, the cattle and agricultural industries, and numerous urban views.â€Â
