I have been in the medical field for over 28 years and currently work at CHRISTUS Children’s, dedicating my time to helping others.
Holy Cow was inspired by the bold, intricate patterns of Mexican Talavera design. Purple emerged as the heart of the design, symbolizing creativity, individuality, and a quiet strength. Gold added a sense of celebration and reverence, bringing a touch of elegance that brought the piece to life.
To honor the city of San Antonio and my own story, I incorporated a rose and a butterfly. The rose is a tribute to someone I’ve lost, a symbol of remembrance and enduring love. The butterfly represents transformation, freedom, and the beauty of change and letting go. Together, these elements tell a story of heritage, healing, and heart.
