Cliff Cavin was born in and currently resides near San Antonio, Texas. Cavin studied under notable artists such as Warren Hunter, George Hughey, William Reese and Wilson Hurley. He has also attended many workshops given by the Cowboy Artists of America. Cliff Cavin has been featured in several publications including "San Antonio Magazine", "Southwest Art", "Art West" and "Art Talk Magazine". HIs primary focus is oil painting landscapes in which both strength and grandeur as well as gentleness and beauty are emphasized.
