Condition: Fair-Antique; wood stock & forend have heavy wear & patina from use; scratches, dings, and cracks present; barrel, receiver, hammer & lever all have dark brown patina w/ surface completely covered in rust and pitting; deep pitting near muzzle; brass pieces have heavy patina & wear; bore is mostly dark & pitted throughout w/ some good rifling before the muzzle end; mechanically functional
Includes: brass barrel band & patch box, brass buttplate; R.S. Lawrence marked rear ladder sight; saddle ring and bar
-signed letter stating the family history of this rifle that was passed down through three generations! (as told by Dave Norris, grandson of the original owner)
