"C. P. Montague" was the pseudonym of beloved Texas artist Pauline Thweatt. She was a favorite of President Lyndon Johnson's, who owned several of her canvases. Her studio in her native Texas is now a bed and breakfast. C.P. Montague became renowned for her Hill Country landscapes which were featured in galleries throughout Texas and beyond.
