Marked: lockplate marked w/ eagle next to "U.S. /SPRINGFIELD" and dated "1864"; top of breech block marked "1866" over eagle head; left side of barrel marked "33"; left side of stock marked w/ "HSH" cartouche; underside of stock marked "1867"
