Condition: Good/Fair-Antique; wood grips have wear & patina commensurate w/ age; repaired chip on left grip; dull gray patina throughout w/ light scattered pitting; faint finish remaining on ramrod; brass trigger guard & backstrap have heavy patina; engraving on cylinder is shallow & worn; bore is frosted w/ pitting; strong rifling; mechanics are good, but a little spongy; tight cylinder lock-up
Includes: naval battle scene roll engraved on cylinder
Marked: left side of frame reads "COLTS / PATENT"; barrel address reads "-ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA-"
