Condition: Fair-needs work; wood stock has moderate wear w/ a crack on the right side of the wrist (screw added through left side for support); repaired split at the toe; wiggle in fit to receiver; forend is worn w/ dark patina & repaired split on left side; barrels are a dark plum brown w/ surface rust (faint twist pattern can be seen in some spots); receiver has brown patina w/ light rusting; rifle bore is fogged, but bright w/ strong rifling; shotgun bore is good & bright; trigger mechanism is not functioning; the underlever is not allowing the barrels to drop open
Includes: checkered stock w/ cheek comb; horn mounted on lower tang behind trigger guard; nice scroll & game scene engraving on receiver w/ gold outlined inlay (deer scene on left side and dog/duck scene on the right); gold inlay initials on upper receiver tang; dual triggers; sidelock underlever action
