-(1) Japanese Tetsu Kusarigama hook blade (combat sickle) w/ weighted chain; black painted handle & hand guard; iron components; likely late Edo-early Meiji period; blade is heavily rusted w/ some flaking of outer layer; moderate wear on handle; 18 in. long OAL; chain & weight are 65 in. in length
-(2) Rare Japanese Chigiriki staff (flail mace) w/ retractable chain & weight and spike tip; sanded wood staff w/ iron pike on bottom and iron band around top end w/ screw in top weight w/ chain attached; likely early Meiji period; staff has moderate wear & patina; all the iron work is rusted; 54 in. length OAL; chain & weight are 40 in. in length
